LIMITED Edition of ONLY 150 Signed and serially Numbered copies; Autographed by RICHARD COMELY; Cover price is; $20.00 Can / 15.00 US; The new 2004 Captain Canuck costume sketch (in colour) on the back cover,The 28 inside pages Contents include: 18 pages of CAPTAIN CANUCK #15 story, with story/art by George Freeman, letters by JC St Aubin, this is the main feature = takes place at Christmas in Calgary & pits the Captaiin vs the ghostly STYGIAN creature; >>> Plus Bonus 6 pages of Captain Canuck in "Black Water", the 5 page 1980 weekend newspaper strip plus one page synopsis of the remainder of the story. (This never ran except for the first installment page which we included in the CC Summer Special); Also; 2 pages of the "City of Gold" 6 episodes strip that ran in the Regina and Moose Jaw newspapers in 1980 - 3 strips per page. (This is a great example of George Freeman's use of tonal b&w art). The last page is where the space for signing and numbering and certification of authenticity. The cover is on a stiff glossy cardstock - the front cover and some art of that period on the back cover. The cover would is on white stock and the inside pages on a Blue coloured stock. The size is 11 x 7-1/2" and is saddle stitched . The cover's are in Suberb & Bright Full Color's. CAPTAIN CANUCK #1 = PROMOTIONAL Handout Cover sample; (only the Cover) (Printed approx. in 1-5/1975, well before the publication of issue #1; The FIRST official item made about Capt Canuck; Thius is the Original color Promo handout cover for #1 sent to prospective advertisers and Distributors, pryor to #1 being published; This was actually intended to be actual cover for #1. In the last few weeks, it was decided that a humor cover referring to "Jammies" and calling Capt Canuck a "Canada's superhero Dummy" was not the best idea. Thus they instead used the classic new PATRIOTIC cover. Quantity printed is unknown but i would guess somewhere between 500 to1000 copies, with many surely many of these fragile items destroyed over the last 30 years. REVERSE Side has illustrated AD's for (1) Capt Canuck; and (2) Jason Corey the CATMAN;
